The BIND is an event that started in 2006. It was initially organised by UNITEC, the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Geneva (UNIGE) and Hospital of Geneva (HUG), joined later by the KT UNIL CHUV (former PACTT), the Technology Transfer Office of University of Lausanne and University Hospital of Lausanne, to showcase the best of the academic life sciences research in Western Switzerland universities. In 2025, BioAlps - Western Switzerland Life Sciences Cluster is taking over the organisation of the event.
